Focus High Performance

Focus: Lead, Elevate, Deliver. Players refine positional specialties and leadership capabilities, representing the Stockman values with pride and humility.

A comprehensive high-performance program designed to take players to the next level. We prepare athletes for representative pathways through elite technical, tactical, and character development.

Technical Mastery

  • Contact: Tackle technique & body positioning.
  • Ball Carry: Footwork, fend & evasion skills.
  • Handling: Accurate catch/pass mechanics under pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where and when is training?

Training is held at Maroochydore Rugby Union Club (4 Fifth Ave, Maroochydore QLD 4558). Sessions run from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Fridays.

When does Phase 2 start?

Both Phase 1 (U11–13) and Phase 2 (U14–16) run in Term 2, 2026 — they're concurrent programs for different age groups. Submit your expression of interest below. Dates for Phase 3 will be announced later in the year.

How do I pay?

Once you register your interest, eligible players will receive the Enrolment Pack via email. This pack contains the EFT payment details.

What is included in the $280 fee?

The $280 covers all 8 weeks of coaching, field hire, and insurance — plus an official Training Shirt and Water Bottle for every player.

Do players need prior experience?

Phase 1 (Foundation) welcomes players of all experience levels — from first-timers to those looking to sharpen existing skills. Phase 2 assumes some familiarity with the game but doesn't require representative-level experience.

Is the Academy affiliated with Maroochydore Rugby Union Club?

The Stockman Rugby Academy uses the Maroochydore Rugby Union Club facilities. The Academy operates as an independent elite development program based on the Sunshine Coast.
